Children's Chapel
Children's Chapel offers a worshipful transition from the nursery to full participation in the regularly scheduled worship services. It is optional for children starting at 3 years of age through third grade. Parents are invited to attend also. Chapel is offered during the 10AM Service (except on Baptism days and other special services in which children benefit from staying in the service with their church family). The Gospel reading of the day, reflection, children's creed, and prayers are done during chapel time. Offering is collected and the children pick different outreach projects to support. All children rejoin their families during the announcements for participation in Holy Communion.
Godly Play
Godly play is for children pre-K through 1st grade on Sunday mornings from 10:15 to 11:00 am. Children learn the classic rhythm for living modeled in the Bible: a balance of action and reflection, engagement and prayer. The heart of Godly Play is to creat sacred spaces, to build and work in community, to learn religious language and to use that language to make meaning.

Wednesdays in Lent
Wednesdays, Feb. 24-March 24 6:00P-7:15P
Led by the Rev. Lauren Hendrick, Dcn.
Building a Heart of Faith: Parents who wish to attend this class with their child are very welcome. This class looks at really tough questions in a way that is easy to understand. It gives a theological understanding of God, of Jesus, and how the Bible calls us to live. Some questions looked at are: "If God is always with me, then how can God be with other people too?", "Why do bad things happen to good people?". "Why should I pray if God never answers my prayer the way I want?", "Why did God send Jesus to earth if God knew Jesus was going to die anyway?"
