Finding Your Way Around Good Shepherd

Host Parking Lot:  You may park across Main Street in the Host parking lot.  They let us use their parking lot on Sundays and other special event evenings.  Enter from Kentucky and exit from Main Street.

On the Street:  Of course you may park on the street, but be mindful of neighbor's driveways, yellow curbs, etc.

Church Parking Lot:  Behind the church there is a small parking lot.  From there you may enter the church by the double glass doors leading into the Concourse and Loggia.

Restrooms

Concourse:  Restrooms are located on the Concourse behind the Sunday morning coffee table near the playground exit.

Second Floor:  On the second floor behind the library and close to the door to the stairwell, there is a single restroom.

Undercroft:  Restrooms are located in the Undercroft (basement) along the hallway near the drinking fountain.

Church Building Entrances

Main Street Tower Entrance:  These doors are open for regular and for special services in the church and are locked at other times during the day and always at night.

Undercroft / Choir Room Entrance:  This entrance is the closest to the front of the building on Bell Court.  The stairs just inside lead downstairs to the Undercroft, the kitchen, the Bride's Room and the choir room.  They lead upstairs to the parish office and continue up to the children's Sunday School rooms and the library.  This door is usually locked during the day to allow the staff to monitor those coming in and going out.

Bell Court Entrance:  The outside stairs and ramp lead to the Concourse, the parish office and the elevator.

Church Parking Lot:  The glass double doors lead into the Concourse and the Loggia.

Getting Information

Where to Look

The Shepherd's Voice, mailed weekly, has articles and announcements about all the programs and events taking place at Good Shepherd.  If you are not receiving this in the mail and would like to, please check with the parish secretary during the week or with the Vestry on Duty on Sunday mornings.  A copy of the current Voice and all past copies are available on this web site.

Along the Loggia and the Concourse, on the tables, the kiosks, and the red pocket chart, you will find announcements, flyers, and sign up sheets for upcoming activities.

Who to Ask
Vestry on Duty:  Every Sunday morning, all morning, two members of the Vestry are at the parish office to meet you or answer your questions.

Cindy McKee, our parish secretary, has all or most of the answers to any questions.  Call her at 252-1744 during the week.

Ask any other Good Shepherd clergy or staff member.
