Weddings

Planning a wedding?  Congratulations!

  • Please read the Wedding Guidelines in the pdf document below very carefully  for details on weddings at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
  • Ideally, you should consult the church before setting a date for your nuptials, but always call the church to determine the availability of your desired date.
  • Also, we recommend that you also call the church to clarify any questions regarding the fee structure, so you are clear on anticipated costs.
  • After you have read the Wedding Guidelines, your next step is to make an appointment with the Priest.  Bring your signed reservation form and declaration of intention with you.

NO WEDDING DATE IS CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU HAVE MET WITH THE PRIEST, YOUR WEDDING RESERVATION FORM AND DECLARATION OF INTENTION ARE RECEIVED BY THE PRIEST, AND YOU  HAVE CONFIRMED THE DATE ON THE CHURCH CALENDAR.

June through December 2012 Weddings, please note:
We are excited that the installation of our new Goulding & Wood organ will be taking place in the fall of 2012.
Consequently we will be using a piano and a small positive organ during this time period.  The main organ is scheduled to be installed and voiced by Christmas 2012 with the Antiphonal organ at the west end scheduled to be completed by Easter 2013.  Those planning weddings during this time period are to be advised that the liturgical space will be in a period of transition, and should plan their music accordingly.

Thanks and blessings on your upcoming nuptials!
