Opportunities for Service     Over 200 people in our parish are  committed to the ministry of the Sunday morning worship.  Only choir members are expected to have faithful attendance; other service ministries are scheduled according to the needs in each ministry, perhaps once or twice a month or even once every other month.  Because of the variety of ministries offered, all can discover an area of service that brings joy to themselves and to the parish.

If you are interested in helping out in any of these areas, talk to the clergy or the parish secretary for more information and about how to get started.

Opportunities for Outreach  Meeting the needs of those in our parish family is important, but God also asks us to understand the needs of the community outside our doors and to participate in meeting those needs.  Some of the following outreach programs are solely sponsored by Good Shepherd; others are run in conjunction with other churches in the area.  Giving of our time and our money is essential for maintaining these ministries.  Whatever you choose to participate in, you will discover an abundance of joy when you meet others' needs.
