Mardi Gras - Annual Outreach Gala

In conjunction with the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington Annual Convention

- An opportunity to have a great time while giving our treasure away!

- Dinner, Drinks, Entertainment, Silent and Live Auction

When the Diocese of Lexington rescheduled the annual convention, folks from Lexington’s Church of the Good Shepherd approached diocesan leadership with a proposal.  Their annual outreach fundraiser was scheduled for the same time as the Friday night gathering during convention. What if we combined the two events, raised funds for some worthy causes, and had a great time together?  Diocesan leaders agreed and the planning began for Mardi Gras.

Laissez bon temps rouler!

Good Shepherd Silent and Live Auctions
– will take place during Friday evening only and benefit these Episcopal Church related projects:

  • Refuge House, a ministry of The Church of the Good Shepherd that provides a house for a family while they get established in Lexington
  • Cathédrale Sainte Trinité – The Campaign to Rebuild Trinity Cathedral in Haiti, for which the Diocese of Lexington has pledged $60,000 (Watch the Video)
  • Backpack Ministry – A special fund at God’s Pantry to help Episcopal Churches in Eastern Kentucky start Backpack programs to feed hungry children on weekends

Diocese of Lexington Youth Silent Auction
